Tao Chen is Professor in the eGovernment Research Center, and Director of Urban Management Department in the College of Public Administration at Huazhong University of Science & Technology in Wuhan (Hubei province), China. He received his PhD degree in Information Systems. His research is focused on E-government Services, Smart City and Artificial Intelligence in public sectors. He has published in Government Information Quarterly, Expert Systems with Applications, Tourism Management, International Journal of Project Management, Information Systems Journal, et al. He had visited the Computer and Information Systems Department at Georgia State University in USA as visiting scholar for one year between 2012 and 2013. Professor Tao Chen was Named as Highly Cited Chinese Researchers of 2020 by Elsevier.
