TRACK CHAIR • Bridging research and practice in governance and policy-making (T4)

Taiane Ritta Coelho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Management at the Federal University of Parana. She holds her Ph.D. in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP, Brazil, and was a visiting student at the HEC Montréal, Canada. She has been leading academic research and projects that especially deal with e-participation, e-government, and ICT for development. She supervises Ph.D. and Master's students in these research areas. She regularly takes part in electronic government conferences, and she is a peer-reviewer in the leading national and international journals of the area. More recently, her research interests include ICT for development and information management in smart cities. In terms of theories, practice-based theoretical lenses and critical approaches are appealing to her.
