Nixon Muganda Ochara is a South African NRF-rated researcher specialising in digital governance, renowned for his contributions to prominent journals like Government Information Quarterly and Information Technology & Politics. With a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, complemented by an MBA in Management Information Systems and an Honours degree in Operations Research, Ochara brings a wealth of expertise to his work. His scholarly pursuits encompass digital government, digital economy, and digital society, all approached with a systemic perspective.

Presently, he holds the position of Associate Professor (Digital Business) at the Wits Business School, where he plays a pivotal role as the Chair of Digital Business.
