Nedson Pophiwa

Nedson Pophiwa is a research, monitoring, and evaluation expert with experience in the academic, public, and development sectors. He has a Ph.D. in Economic History from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Masters in Forced Migration from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Masters degree in African Economic History and a Bachelors in Economic History (Hons), both from the University of Zimbabwe.

He has previously worked for the Human Sciences Research Council, the Africa Institute of South Africa, and the Centre for Learning on Evaluation and Results (CLEAR-AA). His primary research interests include good governance, local and regional economic growth, cross-border trade, migration, sustainability, and informal economies.
