Moses John Mpusha Mushi is an accomplished Marketing and Communication Manager with over 23 years of experience in the Journalism, Marketing, and Communication industry. With 14 years of senior management experience, he excels in strategic planning and implementation.

Currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Department of Public Service and Administration since December 2008, Mushi has established Marketing Communications as a strategic tool for service delivery. His comprehensive communications framework aligns with the organizational Strategic Plan, utilising innovative methods and digital and social media marketing strategies to reach target audiences effectively.

Prior to his current role, he held positions of increasing responsibility, demonstrating his diverse expertise in communications and journalism. He played a pivotal role as the Director of Corporate Communications at the North West Provincial Government in the Office of the Premier, shaping the provincial government's communication strategy. Additionally, he served as the Deputy Director of National Liaison at the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), facilitating effective communication between the government and the public.

Mushi's career in journalism began at the Lowvelder Community Newspaper in Nelspruit, where he honed his skills as a journalist. He then transitioned to a senior political journalist role at the Farmer's Weekly magazine, delving into the intricacies of agricultural policies and practices.

He holds a B-Tech Degree in Journalism, with a focus on Political Science, from Tshwane University of Technology. He also possesses a National Diploma in Journalism from Technikon Pretoria. His wealth of experience, strategic acumen, and ability to leverage various platforms make him an exceptional professional in his field.
