Economist, with a master's degree in Telecommunications Management from Strathclyde University in Scotland and a PhD student in Education from NovaSoutheastern University in the United States. Martha was Director of Computadores para Educar in Colombia, Coordinator of Virtual Educa Colombia, Manager of the National Ten-Year Education Plan 2016-2026 of Colombia and today, National Academic Vice-Rector of the Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina in Colombia, teacher, researcher and consultant in innovation educational.

She is an author of more than 20 articles and co-editor of the books Current Challenges in Education. Analysis and perspectives in the face of a changing world (2020) and Didactic model of learning in challenges: Implementation in a higher education institution (2020).
