Assistant professor of Political Science at Federal University of Minas Gerais. Ph.D. in Political Science. Associate researcher of the National Institute of Science & Technology for Digital Democracy (INCT.DD – Brazil). Former visiting researcher at the School of Politics and International Studies of the University of Leeds (2015-16). Leader of the Research Group in Digital Communication & Democratic Engagement (DECODE/UFMG). Research interests: Parliaments, Public Engagement, Public Opinion, Digital Democracy. Recent publication in English: “Context Matters! Looking beyond platform structure to understand citizen deliberation on Brazil's Portal e-Democracia (Policy & Internet, 2019).
