Gedion Onyango is a Research Fellow at the Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom. He also holds the position of Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. Previously, Gedion worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nairobi and has served as a Guest Lecturer at various universities in Africa, Europe, and Canada. His work has been published in reputable public administration and policy journals, including Public Integrity, Perspectives on Public Management and Governance, Public Organization Review, International Journal of Public Administration, and Journal of Technology in Human Services. Additionally, he has edited works such as "Routledge Handbook of Public Policy in Africa, London: Routledge" and "Public Policy and Technological Transformation in Africa: Nurturing Policy Entrepreneurship, Policy Tools and Citizen Participation, London: Palgrave Macmillan.
