Antonio Neto

Antonio is a passionate advocate for social urbanism, sustainability, innovation, and strategic governance. He is committed to contributing to the development of innovative and efficient cities. Antonio has extensive experience in governance and strategic management, having served as Director of Projects and Management and Chief of Staff for the Deputy Speaker and the Hon. Second Secretary in the Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies. In these roles, he promoted organizational modernization and development. Currently, Antonio is serving as CEO of the Institute of Research and Urban Planning at Maceió, Alagoas, leading strategic projects focused on innovation, smart cities, and international cooperation. He is also the CEO of the National Association of Secretaries and Leaders of Municipal Innovation – Fórum Inova Cidades, linked to the National Association of Mayors. Additionally, Antonio coordinated Commitment 7 "Transparency in the Legislative Process" of the 4th National Action Plan for Open Government in Brazil and served as an Advisor in the Undersecretariat of Parliamentary Affairs in the Office of the Brazilian President.
