Alessandro Bozzini is a policy analyst in the Open Government Unit, Directorate of Public Governance at the OECD. He is an international development practitioner in the field of governance, specialising in transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, parliamentary support and civil society strengthening with 15 years of work experience in Europe, Africa and the MENA region. His work at the OECD focuses mainly on the MENA region and particularly on Tunisia, managing technical assistance, policy advice and research projects in the field of open government and specifically on access to information, local governance, civic space and citizen participation. Before joining the OECD he worked for UNDP, GIZ, Transparency International, the European Parliament and different NGOs, being based in Brussels, Rwanda, Madagascar and Tunisia. An Italian citizen, he studied political science and international relations.
