Zahin was born and raised in Dhaka and graduated in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with honours from Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in 2016. His passion for engineering came into being when he started to accompany his parents in his childhood at their workplaces who are both physicians. For his Master research project, he worked on Optical Biosensors with the research group ‘Centre for Advanced Electronics and Sensors’ (CADES) and also plans to work on Gas Sensors in future. In 2016, during his Bachelors for his thesis dissertation and publication, he worked on review and analysis of Nanowire FET Biosensors as well. He volunteered in several engineering events those were hosted in IUT comprising participation of Engineering students from all over Bangladesh where he enjoyed working as organizer and team leader. He currently works as a sessional staff at RMIT University where he demonstrates and assesses laboratory tasks for undergraduate students. He received industrial trainings at power, telecom and nuclear energy sectors on 2015 during his bachelors. Prior to his Bachelors, he received government scholarships for his outstanding performance at his High School and College Completion Exams. He is very much enthusiastic to pursue Ph.D in the field of Microelectronics for Biomedical applications.
