Retired from the Indian Administrative Service, the permanent civil service of India, after 37 years of service. A pioneer in the design and implementation of e-Government programsand projects in India. Associated with the design and implementation of over 20 major e-Government projects at the State and National levels. Best known as the founder of eSeva, a one-stop-shop for citizen services, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Among the notable achievements are the conceptualization and design of 1. Passport Seva Project for the Ministry of External Affairs (http://passportindia.gov.in); 2. MCA21 for Ministry of Corporate Affairs (http://www.mca.gov.in/MCA21); and 3. eTAAL, a portal that aggregates, analyzes and provides a dashboard view of the e-Government transactions on real-time, from over 300 projects and 2000 e-Services across India. (www.etaal.gov.in).

Instrumental in the design of a number of policies in the ICT sector at the National Level in India. These include, the (i) National ICT Policy (ii) National Electronics Policy and (iii) National Cyber Security Policy. In the current position as Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, since June 2014, guided the design and notification of (i) Blueprint of IT, Electronics and e-Governance (ii) AP IT Policy 2014 (iii) AP Electronics Policy 2014 (iv) AP Innovation and Startup Policy 2014 and (v) AP State Enterprise Architecture for e-Governance. ( e-Pragati) e-Pragati is the country's first Statewide enterprise architecture initiative, to deliver government services to citizens, businesses, employees and other Government entities in an integrated, efficient and equitable manner. Its service design is citizen centered rather than department centered. Service delivery is supported by deep collaboration between departments in terms of information flow, application interaction and common applications and infrastructure.
