The Agency for the Development of Electronic Government and Information Society and Knowledge (AGESIC - Agencia de Gobierno Electrónico y Sociedad de la Información y del Conocimiento) is an executing unit under the President of the Republic. AGESIC leads the e-government strategy and its implementation in Uruguay, as the basis for an efficient and citizen-centered state, to enhance the information and knowledge society, promoting inclusion and equity for the use of information and communication technology in the country.
