Biography

Tanzila Saba earned her PhD in Document Information Security and Management from the Faculty of Computing at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2012, where she received the Best Student Chancellor Award.

She is currently Associate Director of the Research and Initiatives Center and Leader of the Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics Research Lab at Prince Sultan University, Riyadh. Her research focuses on medical imaging, pattern recognition, IoT, and information security. She has authored over 450 publications in high-ranked ISI/SCIE-indexed journals, with significant contributions to biomedical research.

A Senior Member of IEEE and active member of ACM, AIS, and IAENG, she serves as editor, reviewer, and TPC member for leading international journals and conferences. Prof. Saba is the PSU WiDS Ambassador at Stanford University and has received the Best Researcher Award for four consecutive years. She has been ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists (2020–2024), with over2,650 citations and an h-index of 94.
