Biography

Asmaa Mohamed Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Information Systems Department at Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She earned her Ph.D. in Computing from Queen’s University, Canada, and holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University and the University of Guelph. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, machine learning, computer vision, and smart agriculture systems.

Ali has published in leading journals and conferences, including IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and Computer Networks. She has received several recognitions, including Best Paper Awards at the SmartNets and WINCOM international conferences. Her research contributes to the development of intelligent frameworks for monitoring greenhouse environments and designing sustainable IoT-based solutions. She is a member of IEEE and actively contributes to interdisciplinary research in AI-driven smart systems and data-driven applications.
