Robert Ifeonu
Robert O. Ifeonu is a Digital Development Specialist at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he leads digital governance and data-driven reform initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacity within complex regulatory systems. With over 14 years of experience at the intersection of technology, institutions, and public value, his work focuses on digital public infrastructure, institutional capability development, micro-transformations, and human-centred digital governance.
Ifeonu holds a PhD in Information Systems Management from the University of Huddersfield, UK. His research on micro-transformations for public sector reform received the Best Research Paper Award at the ICEGOV 2025 conference. He is a Fellow of the Africa Data Futures Fellowship and serves as an expert contributor to the United Nations United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) initiative, where he contributes to the development of the Digital Development Goals.
