Nina Rizun


Nina Rizun is an Assistant Professor at the Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Informatics in Management (Gdańsk, Poland); a Visiting Professor at the School of Public Policy & Administration at Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada); and at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences (Brandenburg, Germany).
Her main research interests include advanced computational and linguistic analytics, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing, with a focus on their application to robust policy analytics for service improvement, decision support, and evidence-based policymaking. Her thematic fields include AI-enabled public service co-creation, e-government and ICT governance, AI safety and ethics in the public sector, open government data, and smart sustainable cities.
She maintains a strong publication record as a senior and co-author in high-ranking international peer-reviewed journals, including Decision Support Systems, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Computers in Industry, Business Process Management Journal, and Telecommunication Policy. Her research has also been widely presented at leading international conferences such as HICSS, ICIS, AMCIS, and ECIS.
