Massimo De Luca took up the role of Head of Cooperation at the European Union Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS in February 2024. He previously served as Head of Trade and Economics in Costa Rica, South Africa and Nigeria. Prior to such postings, he spent the initial years of his employment at the EU Commission in the Directorate General for Competition.
