Hamira Welye
A Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Analyst with UNFPA Nigeria, specializing in innovation-driven GBV and SRHR programming, he leads the design and scale-up of digital platforms and tools including the National GBV Case Information Management System (with FMoWA/NBS), a Virtual Response & Referral Service, a pregnancy tracking system, and supported a regional family-planning basket-fund tracker, initiatives that have expanded survivor reach by and improved data use for policy.
Previously, he served as RMNCH Officer with WHO and as Emergency Health Coordinator with Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency. He holds an MBBS degree and an MSc in International Public Health. His interests lie at the intersection of technology, data governance, and survivor-centred services, advancing equitable access for women and girls across humanitarian and development settings.
