Adedeji Peter Adeniran is the Director of Research at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), a leading development think tank based in Nigeria. His current research explores the intersection of data governance, digitalization, and development across Africa.

He leads a continent-wide team of experts advancing initiatives to promote a Regional Data Governance Framework under a Hewlett Foundation funded project. In addition, he serves as a Co-Principal Investigator on the Gender and Responsible AI Network (GRAIN) project, which is building a collaborative network of African institutions to advance research and advocacy on AI and gender equity.
