Olusegun Medupin
Over the last 15 years, Olusegun has been working to advance youth development, gender justice, and community empowerment across Africa. At YouthHubAfrica, he leads programmes that engage young people, specifically men and boys in ending gender-based violence while empowering young people to use digital platforms for advocacy on SRHR and GBV.
Olusegun has developed programs that engage social media advocates, influencers, and content creators to use technology, storytelling, and innovation to challenge harmful norms and promote prevention through online mobilisation, awareness creation, and policy engagement. He also coordinates the activities of the Young Men’s Network Against GBV with membership across 16 Nigerian states, fostering positive masculinity and male allyship.
A RiseUp Fellow, Olusegun is recognised for designing inclusive, youth-led solutions that leverage digital innovation and governance to combat gender-based violence and drive social change.
