Farai Mlambo is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Business (Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence) at Wits Business School, University of the Witwatersrand.

He also serves as Programme Director for the Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business, a Research Fellow at the Machine Intelligence and Neural Discovery (MIND) Institute, and an Associate in Statistics with the National Institute for Theoretical and Computational Sciences (NITheCS).

Mlambo holds a PhD in Mathematical Statistics and is currently pursuing a second PhD in Probabilistic Machine Learning. His research focuses on entropy-based explainability and uncertainty quantification in deep learning, with applications in finance and health. Beyond research, he is the author of A Survival Guide for Every Postgraduate Journey and an active supervisor of MSc and PhD students across Africa.
