Dominic Amenaghawon Omokaro, FNLA, F.CIoD, DFAI, FCAI, CLN, CPA, is the Immediate Past President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA). A visionary leader, pastor, and professional, he has championed innovation, visibility, and advocacy in librarianship across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.

Under his leadership, the NLA has gained prominence through transformative initiatives, strategic collaborations, and strengthened global recognition. Omokaro is also a Fellow of several professional bodies and a committed servant of God with a passion for community development, leadership, and education. His life embodies service, excellence, and inspiration to future generations.

He has attended and delivered papers at many conferences, workshops and seminars. He has written over 30 articles and co-authored a book and contributed chapters in books. He is widely travelled.
