Babatunde Olatunji


Babatunde Olatunji is a computer science and governance scholar, legislative and policy expert, and two-term legislator with more than two decades of experience across the public and private sectors. He served eight years in the Osun State House of Assembly, Nigeria, where he held leadership roles including Chief Whip and Chairman of the Innovation, Science, and Technology Committee. In these capacities, he championed legislative oversight, education reform, budget reforms, and digital policy initiatives that strengthened transparency, accountability, and citizen-driven governance.
Before his public service career, he worked with leading Nigerian commercial banks in finance, strategy, and business development. A passionate advocate of inclusive education, he also volunteered as a part-time teacher in rural public schools, directly impacting over 5,100 students. He lectures, advocates and consults widely on governance, legislative reforms, public finance, education, economic and financial inclusion, and digital transformation for sustainable development.
