ICEGOV 2025 – Registration Terms and Conditions

All registration fees are quoted in Euros (€) and taxes are included. Payment in any other currency is not accepted.

Payments can be done either by Credit Card when doing the registration, or by bank transfer.

For the issuance of invoices, ensure that all company details are captured correctly. The invoicing address and VAT number can be set up during the registration process. Any modification to the VAT number, address, or financial documentation requested after the issuing of the invoice will result in an administrative fee charge of 45€.

The prices indicated for each registration period are only applicable if the registration request and payment are received before midnight Abuja Time (UTC+1). Otherwise, the following registration period fee will apply.

A confirmation email will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. For your registration to be valid and complete, the outstanding amount should be zero. You are advised to have this confirmation in your easily accessible records, should there be a need to present it at the registration desk at the conference venue.

  • We encourage the use of payment by Credit Card.
  • If you chose payment by bank transfer, please send the transfer receipt to icegov@icegov.org.
  • Registration payments must be completed before the end of the selected registration period; if the payment is not submitted by the deadline for the fee applicable, the outstanding amount will be updated to the one that corresponds to the next registration period.

Registration Cancellation Policy

  • ⁠Until 31 August: a full refund* will be given minus a 50€ administration charge
  • From 1 September to 15 October: a 50% refund* of the paid value will be reimbursed
  • From 16 October to 1 November: no refund of the registration fee

*All refunds will be processed two (2) months after the closing of the Conference and bank charges associated with this will be the responsibility of the delegate.

Registration Alterations / Name Changes Policy

  • ⁠Until 31 August: a name change can be applied without any penalty
  • From 1 September to 15 October: name changes are permitted upon payment of a 30€ administrative fee per change
  • From 16 October to 1 November: no name changes will be accepted

Liability and Insurance

No right to further claims or waiving of fees will arise should the Organisers be obliged to alter the conference programme.

Participants are encouraged to arrange their own insurance for cancellation, travel, loss of personal possessions, accident, etc., on their own behalf. UNU-EGOV and NITDA accept no liability.

In the event of special or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, the Organisers shall be entitled to cancel or modify the conference dates. Registered delegates shall not be entitled to compensation for any loss or damage incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.

Data Privacy Statement

The information you supply in the online form is required for processing your registration and will be held in the participants data files of the Organisers. They may be used for marketing and communication purposes only by UNU-EGOV and NITDA, within the context of this event or other educational meetings of the same or similar theme (according to the preferences you chose).

The information you provide us with will remain in the Organisers’ archives, in electronic format, and access will only be allowed to persons under the control of the Organisers and on their instructions, in accordance with the legislation applicable.

Your personal data will be maintained by the Organisers for as long as no explicit objection has been stated. In any case, you retain the rights provided by the applicable law, namely the right to request access to or correction of your personal data, to object to the processing of all or some of them, to have your personal data deleted after completion of your participation in the Conference, etc.

To ensure that your personal data is used according to your wishes, we urge you to mind the Data Privacy section and respective authorisations when filling in your registration form.
