Biography

Mohammed Agbali is a Senior Manager at the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), where he serves as one of the pioneering staff members of the Research and Development (R&D) Department.

He is a Member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), Brussels and brings a wealth of experience as a certified ISO 21500 Lead Project Manager, Data Protection Officer, and Information Systems Assessor. With a strong background in research and project management, Agbali has demonstrated a consistent focus on innovative development.

His research interest focuses on Smart Cities, Big Data analytics and Digital Transformation. He has published in several high-impact journals, including MDPI, Springers, Tamap and IEEE. In recent years, Agbali has shifted focus from ICT policy formulation and development of organizational strategy to more technical roles - focusing on technical writing and development of frameworks for the deployment of emerging technologies in support of sustainable national development.

Currently, he is analysing empirical data on developing an effective framework for cybersecurity management in Nigeria.
