Architecture of EGOV application: the example of the National Services Registry and "eKEP"

While the Greek public administration lags behind in its digital transformation journey, new perspectives emerge thanks to the adoption of modern practices in ICT design and development. An ecosystem od interrelated services is being developed, beginning from a business processes registration and covering their transformation to user-centric public services thanks to BPM and event-driven architecture, as well as a shift in prevailing mindset and culture of both IT and non-IT stakeholders.

OBJECTIVES

  • Specification of main design principles.
  • Architecture elements.
  • Issues to be addresses.

FORMAT

The proposed workshop includes a presentation of recent developments and ICT projects on the Greek public administration (e.g. eKEP, National Registry of Procedures, etc.), a section on the challenges faced and dilemma to be addressed, and an open slot where these issues can be actively discussed among the participants, so as to get feedback and collect proposals on next steps and architecture elements.
