Trui Steen is Professor at KU Leuven Public Governance Institute, Vice-Dean Research at the KU Leuven Faculty of Social Sciences and Director of the Doctoral Program Social Sciences. She is interested in the governance of public services and the role of different stakeholders, including public sector professionals, civil society and citizens. Her research interests include co-creation and co-production of public services, public sector innovation, and local governance. She is partner in the H2020 project inGOV ‘Inclusive Governance Models and ICT Tools for Integrated Public Service Co-Creation and Provision’. She is founding co-chair of the IIAS study group on Co-production of Public Services and co-edited the Routledge volume ‘Co-Production and Co-Creation: Engaging Citizens in Public Services’. Her work appears among others in Government Information Quarterly, Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, Public Administration, American Review of Public Administration, Administration & Society, Local Government Studies, and Voluntas.
