Nikos Vasilakis is in charge of the Strategic Planning and Coordination Unit, GRNET's Directorate of Digital Governance. Among others, at GRNET he is the product owner on GOV.GR, and responsible for the H2020 project ACROSS and the Portfolio Management System of the National Digital Transformation Strategy. He was a co-author of the initial version of the latter of the newly founded Ministry of Digital Governance in 2019, and contributed to the subsequent versions. He is also a PhD candidate and senior researcher in e-government and e-health at Athens University of Economics & Business-AUEB. He has been a member of working teams in the same fields for diaNEOsis research institute, Greek Innovation and Strategy Forum, and Open Technologies Alliance (GFOSS). Nikos has worked in operational coordination, business intelligence consulting and in projects for entrepreneurship, e-government and e-health, whereas he co-founded and has run a m-health startup (TechApps Healthier) for 3 years. He is a graduate (Hons) of Management Science & Technology, AUEB and holds an MPhil in Innovation, Strategy & Organisation, University of Cambridge.
