Dr. Lei Zheng is the Director of the Lab for Digital and Mobile Governance and a Professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University located in Shanghai, China. He received a PhD degree in Public Administration and Policy from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, State University of New York. His research interests and expertise include digital governance, government digital transformation, open government data, cross-boundary information sharing, mobile public services, and government use of social media. He serves as a member of the Expert Group for the United Nations E-government Survey since 2017, a member of the Editorial Board of Government Information Quarterly, Co-chair of Digital Government Society China Chapter and the Vice President of Digital Government Committee of China Information Society.
