Jess is Deputy Director for UK and International at GDS. Jess is a computer scientist by background and brings extensive experience working in digital delivery in both the public and private sector, and has led digital transformation initiatives in the UK and New Zealand. Jess joined GDS in 2013 and became programme director for GOV.UK Verify, where she developed the UK’s flagship digital identity assurance service for the Government and one of GDS’s largest and most complex business areas. In her current role, Jess is leading the development of GDS’s growing international portfolio, supporting overseas governments, multilaterals and development organisations to transform and deliver their digital agendas.
