The CETyS is an academic and interdisciplinary space for research, training and dissemination on the dynamics and policies centered on the Internet and the data-based ecosystem. Founded in 2007 and part of the Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA), in Buenos Aires, Argentina, CETyS produces situated knowledge based in Latin America and the Global South on issues such as: Internet governance and digital policies, artificial intelligence , privacy and protection of personal data, data-driven economy, fintech, cybersecurity, digital rights and digital citizenship, intellectual property, electronic and digital commerce, geopolitics of cyberspace and cyberdiplomacy, defense of competition in digital markets, philosophy of information, and regulation of digital technologies in general.
