Portugal no longer requires vaccination proof or negative tests. As of 1 July 2022, all passengers entering national territory (including the islands of Azores and Madeira) are no longer required to present a negative COVID-19 test, nor are they required to present a vaccination or recovery certificate, either the COVID-EU digital certificate or certificates issue by third countries.
However, a face mask is still mandatory under the following circumstances:
- In public transports (bus, metro, train), taxis, and similar passenger transports;
- When accessing hospitals, pharmacies, other health facilities, and nursing homes.
