ICEGOV 2020 marks the 13th edition of the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance. Jointly organised by the University of the Aegean, the Harokopio University of Athens and the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV), this year’s conference has been shifted, for the first time, from a physical conference to a fully virtual conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the main theme Digital Governance in the Era of Disruptive Technologies and Globalisation, ICEGOV 2020 will promote the interaction of people from all over the world and different sectors, such as academia, government, industry, and international organisations. The conference programme is being updated now to reflect the change from a physical to a virtual conference, but participants can expect several paper presentations on a range of themes, workshops, keynote lectures, plenary sessions, and invited sessions, while also having the opportunity to engage with other participants in a virtual manner, therefore ensuring the necessary safety of the current times.
The conference will be held in Eastern European Summer Time (UTC+3), which is the timezone of Athens. For an easy conversion of this time to your current local time, please click here.
More information about the tool to be used for the conference, as well as instructions to presenters and speakers, will be emailed in the coming weeks.
