About
The 2nd International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, ICEGOV2008, took place in Cairo, Egypt during 1-4 December 2008. The conference was organized jointly by the Center for Electronic Governance at United Nations University – International Institute for Software Technology, and German University in Cairo.
ICEGOV2008 benefited from invited talks given by three distinguished experts and practitioners in the area and also featured 15 invited sessions by various governments, universities and international organizations.
In addition to invited talks and sessions, ICEGOV2008 also featured a strong capacity building program comprising a series of six (horizontal) tutorials on domain-independent aspects of Electronic Governance and three (vertical) tutorials on domain-specific aspects.
