Dr. Thomas Lampoltshammer is Assistant Professor for ICT and Governance, as well as the Deputy Head of the Centre for E-Governance at the Department for E-Governance and Administration at Danube University Krems. He earned his PhD in Applied Geoinformatics at the FWF doctoral college "GIScience" at the University of Salzburg. Besides he holds master's degrees in Information Technology, Embedded and Intelligent Systems, Adult Education, as well as Corporate Governance and Management. The project experience of Dr. Lampoltshammer as PI includes EU-funded and national projects, as well as research studies with the public administration of Austria at the federal and state level. The fields of research of the projects extend among other things over: E-Governance/E-Government, Geoinformatics, Semantics, Open Data, Data Governance, Once-Only and Legal Informatics. He is co-founder of the International Data Science Conference (iDSC) and acts as reviewer for numerous international conferences, journals, and funding agencies.
