Paul Hector is the Advisor for Communication and Information in UNESCO’s Cairo Office. Over the past 18 years, he has been supporting access to information and knowledge initiatives in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean and, most recently, the Middle East. Paul is an alumnus of the J. William Fulbright Fellowship Program and the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Programme. Since 2012, Paul has been involved in the United Nations University’s annual ICEGOV Conference. He has lectured in the graduate International Business Programme at the Telecom École de Management. His research interests include knowledge-based development, urbanization, innovation and entrepreneurship.
