Mr. Majed Ayyad is an assistant professor at Birzeit University (part-time), where he teaches distributed systems and software engineering management. He also works as an R&D director at Freightos (full time), where he enjoys designing solutions for business-to-business integrations. From time-to-time he works as a consultant for international organizations such the World Bank, USAID and UNOPS to help the Palestinian Ministries in developing their eGovernment and ICT strategies. Majed’s research interests are in finding machine learning based solutions to business problems as well as applying distributed architectures and technologies such as blockchain to renovate eGovernment.
