Helen Anstis is Executive Director, Corporate at Service Victoria. Service Victoria is the government’s new dedicated customer service agency. It has been established to make transactions quick, simple and easy for Victorians to get things done with government and is helping the way the public sector agencies interact with citizens. Service Victoria has adopted a best practice approach to privacy-enhancing design and security and used a lean start up methodology to deliver a digital platform of contemporary cloud-based infrastructure. As part of the executive team she leads a mulit-disciplinary team in transforming the way Victorians engage and interact with government. Before coming to Service Victoria, Helen was an experienced executive with significant management and governance experience across the private and public sectors. She has over 20 years’ experience in local government including seven years as the CEO of Baw Baw Shire Council, a fast-growing peri-urban council east of Melbourne. Helen holds a Bachelor of Business, Masters of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
