Arvind Tyagi is a tech-savvy, forward-looking transformational leader with rich experience in the private and public sectors. He has over twenty years of experience leading large teams within reputed multinationals, the Commonwealth of Australia and State Governments. He has worked as Chief Audit Executive and Executive Director, Governance and Performance within the New South Wales (NSW) Department of Planning and Environment, delivering a range of e-governance-related projects. Arvind is a multidisciplinary leader who draws upon his extensive and diverse qualifications to drive truly innovative approaches to addressing strategic issues. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Science, Information Technology (eCommerce), and Management. He holds a Law degree and is an Associate CPA. Arvind also enjoys higher-level industry accreditations and qualifications in Governance, Risk, Internal Audit, Project/Program/Portfolio Management, Policy, Procurement and coaching and training. Throughout his career, Arvind’s ‘outside the box’ approach to addressing strategic priorities has been recognised with numerous awards and accolades. He has been the recipient of three Secretary Awards for his team’s contributions to policy development, enablement and service delivery. He has also received two finalist awards in the Icare TMF Awards for Excellence in Risk Management. He currently works as the Executive Director, Portfolio Transformation Office, NSW Department of Planning & Environment. He lives in Sydney, Australia.
